How to build a compliance calendar that actually works
Spreadsheets fail because compliance dates are scattered across regulators. Here is a better model.

We built our portal because every client had the same broken spreadsheet: a list of dates copied from six different websites, out of date the moment a regulator changed a rule.
Start from your registrations, not from the calendar
A good calendar is generated from what you are registered for. If you are VAT registered, the 18th appears. If you have employees, the 10th appears three times. If you are an NCC contractor, an annual renewal appears. Change a registration and the calendar changes with it.
Remind before, not on the day
Filings need documents. Reminders should arrive when there is still time to gather payroll, invoices or bank statements, typically seven and three days before the deadline, with a final alert on the day.
Show status, not just dates
The question is never "when is it due" but "has it been done". Every item on our calendar carries a status: upcoming, in progress, filed, or overdue, along with the receipt once filed.
