Tender-ready: the compliance documents every bid needs
Most bids are disqualified on paperwork, not price. Make sure these six documents are valid before the deadline.
Public and private tenders in Zambia typically require the same core set of compliance documents. If any one of them is expired on the closing date, your bid goes in the bin regardless of your price.
The six documents
Certificate of Incorporation, a valid ZRA Tax Clearance Certificate, a NAPSA compliance certificate, a Workers Compensation certificate, ZPPA supplier registration, and for construction work, an NCC registration certificate in the right grade and category.
Why they expire at the worst time
TCCs and NAPSA certificates are conditional on current filings. A missed return in the month before a bid can invalidate them. Our portal flags the expiry of every tender document and we renew them before they lapse.
